Overview

rotem-e.com is the personal portfolio and knowledge base of Rotem E, a product designer. This policy explains what information the site collects when you visit or get in touch, and how that information is used. In short: the site collects the message you choose to send through the contact form, and usage statistics that help improve it. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared beyond the services listed here.

The contact form

If you send a message through the contact page, the site collects the name, email address, and message you provide. This information is used only to read and reply to your message. It is delivered by email through Resend, the site's email delivery service, and is never published. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information about your browser to tell people apart from bots.

Analytics

The site uses analytics tools to understand how visitors use it — which pages are read, which links are clicked, and where the experience can improve. These tools collect usage data such as pages visited, clicks and scrolling, browser and device type, screen size, and approximate location based on your IP address. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site; it is not used to identify you personally.

Google Analytics

Hotjar

Shows how pages are used through heatmaps and anonymized session recordings — see the Hotjar privacy policy.

Mixpanel

Measures how visitors interact with the site's features — see the Mixpanel privacy policy.

Cookies

The site and the analytics tools above use cookies and similar browser storage to recognize returning visitors and measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — such as your IP address and browser headers — to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Data retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's settings and then deleted or aggregated.

Your rights

You can ask what information the site holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Reach out through the contact page.
